Job summary

A leading global real estate services firm is seeking an HVAC Engineer for their team in Durham. The successful candidate will perform both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on site. Responsibilities include the maintenance of HVAC systems, fault finding, and managing risks associated with equipment. Strong experience in HVAC maintenance is required, alongside qualifications in mechanical competence. The role offers a dynamic environment and the opportunity to be part of a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a strong background in HVAC maintenance with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in fault finding and contractor supervision is a must.
• F-Gas safe handling certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to Plant and Equipment.
• Identify and manage risks to the client through the equipment on site.
• Support others in the team in relation to Health and Safety.
• Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage Building Services.

Strong proven experience in HVAC maintenance

Ability to fault find

Good multi skilled ability

Ability to supervise contractors

Education

Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship

Mechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild’s Mechanical
