Qualifications

  • Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure budgeted targets are met.
  • Establish strong working relationships with supply chain, consultants, and customers.
  • Accurately value, certify, and issue payment notices for supply chain partners.
  • Manage the procurement of work packages.
  • Submit external valuations according to contract conditions.
  • Complete cost value comparison (CVC) reports.
  • Identify potential disputes timely and enable effective solutions.

Skills

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Procurement and cost management experience
Excellent financial and contractual awareness

Education

Construction-related degree
