About The Role

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Casual Retail Assistant who will deliver excellent customer service. You will play a crucial part of the team, contributing toward branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties

• Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximizing sales where possible.
• Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
• Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone queries and handling electronic enquiries as needed.
• Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
• Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
• Contribute to a positive team performance while working to personal benchmarks to optimise performance and sales of product promotions.
• Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
• Ensure customer-facing areas of the branch are kept clean and tidy.
• Develop strong working relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
• Promote a professional image of the company by representing our values and maintaining a tidy appearance.
• Always work towards achieving relevant KPIs.

Working hours

Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave. May include weekend working.

About You

What you\'ll need to succeed:

• Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive approach to customer queries with proactive resolution.
• Confident user of IT and computer systems.
• The ability to work well with others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
