Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to hands-on electronics or RF measurement activities.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documents including test plans and reports.
• Willingness to work away from home in the UK or overseas for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of EMC test plans under guidance.
• Setting up customer equipment for EMC and TEMPEST testing.
• Conducting EMC/TEMPEST measurements using specialist RF equipment.
• Analysing test data and contributing to detailed technical test reports.
• Working closely with senior engineers and customers to support test delivery.

Skills

Strong interest in RF engineering, EMC or electronics testing

Hands-on experience with electronics or RF measurement

Ability to write technical documents

Strong communication skills

Ability to set up and use specialized equipment

Education

Electrical or electronics-based Apprenticeship at NVQ Level 3

HNC/HND in an electrical or electronics discipline

Tools
