Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Duty Manager with a passion for service excellence to start with us by October 2025.

You will report to the Assistant Front Office Manager, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures the Front Office team offers a warm welcome, accurate information, and guest comfort and safety.
  • Oversees adherence to company procedures (check‑in, check‑out, cash and key handling).
  • Manages team communication and fosters a collaborative environment.
  • Supports the Assistant Front Office Manager with recruitment, performance management, talent development, and absence management.
  • Handles guest queries and complaints, involving senior management when necessary.
  • Manages bookings, room allocations, group reservations, and special requests.
  • Initiates and maintains effective communication within the department and with other departments.
  • Ensures compliance with safety and security procedures, financial tasks, and assists with revenue management.
Qualifications/Experience
