This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR), while guiding the delivery of remedial works across our operational assets.**What You’ll Be Doing**As a DSEAR Project Manager, you’ll provide the technical and commercial expertise needed to plan and deliver DSEAR capital projects and remedials to a high standard. You’ll lead direct teams and contracted partners to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory expectations.Your responsibilities will include:· Line management and programme delivery of DSEAR remedial work, including oversight of contracted activities · Enabling and supporting the delivery of planned and emergent capital projects · Working closely with DSEAR Engineers and Technicians to ensure all solutions are compliant · Guiding and managing stakeholders on DSEAR compliance and best practice · Maintaining accurate records of remedials and asset updates for PSPI reporting · Managing budgets, tracking spend trends and monitoring job progress · Providing insight on performance, efficiencies, and costs · Ensuring solutions meet Water and Wastewater quality standards · Leading Root Cause Analysis and Optioneering where required · Complying with corporate Risk and Value processes and all necessary governance · Providing project management support to contractors and local teams · Visiting sites to assess capital needs and build suitable solutions · Managing commercial changes and ensuring effective cost control · Reviewing R risk assessments, method statements, and on-site practices to maintain safety · Ensuring scheme documentation is received, accurate and submitted promptly · Upholding compliance with all relevant legislation**About You**You’ll bring the ability to lead programmes with confidence, clarity and technical insight.
