A community-focused housing organization is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness in public and private spaces. You will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining stock control for cleaning supplies. Ideal candidates will have experience in cleaning, good organizational skills, and an understanding of hygiene regulations. This role offers a part-time contract with competitive hourly pay and a supportive team environment.
Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham
Salary - £12.21 Per Hour
Contract type - Permanent
Working hours - 16 Hours per week on a rolling rota
About the role
To ensure that the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained in public and shared spaces (and in Customers personal rooms or homes where appropriate). Providing a high standard cleaning service which meet environmental and infection-control requirements while creating a positive living and working environment.
To clean, damp dust, polish, vacuum, carpet wash, empty bins and sanitise any designated areas to a high standard according to agreed cleaning schedules/ specifications.
Ensuring that ceilings, curtains, lampshades etc. are free from cobwebs.
Keeping cleaning stored clean and appropriately stocked/ in good order.
Carry out any reasonable request from a manager that is within your ability.
To maintain daily cleaning routines, short and long term cleaning programmes and spot cleaning policies, Inputting in to reviews with the help of the Head Housekeeper/ Business Support Manager.
To assist in maintaining stock control and ordering systems for cleaning products and equipment.
Provide laundry cover as part of the role or as requested,
