As Divisional Director (GTEC Training), you’ll be at the heart of our strategic journey, reporting to the board. You’ll drive sustainable, predictable growth, champion innovative commercial strategies, and foster powerful partnerships. This is your opportunity to shape the next chapter of our success.

Job Description
  • Take full ownership of divisional P&L, collaborating the senior leadership to deliver consistent revenue growth and robust margins.
  • Design and implement commercial strategies to expand the existing stable, recurring revenue streams, especially in mandatory training, licensing, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key partners, customers, and sector stakeholders, securing multi-year agreements and collaborative growth opportunities.
  • Lead the commercialisation of new and existing products, ensuring pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies maximise profitability and market share.
  • Align marketing, operations, qualification portfolio, and business development into a unified revenue engine with clear KPIs and transparent reporting.
  • Identify and deliver innovative business models (e.g., managed service, subscription, licensing, frameworks) to diversify and secure long‑term income streams.
  • Provide regular reporting on commercial performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Mentor and support the senior leadership team, embedding a high-performance, results-driven culture.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record in senior commercial leadership within B2B services, ideally in training, education, or skills development.
  • A solid financial acumen, with detailed experience in P&L management, budget forecasting, and margin optimisation along with the ability to interpret and challenge financial information to make data driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and securing multi-year revenue agreements.
  • Experience scaling subscription, licensing, managed services, or framework-driven commercial models.
  • Familiarity with grant‑funded programmes such as CITB is desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels, including board and external stakeholders.
  • Detail‑oriented, and results‑driven, with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to growth and optimisation.
