A healthcare provider in Debenham, UK is seeking a dispensary manager to oversee the daily operations of its dispensary service across three sites. The ideal candidate will be a registered pharmacy technician with substantial experience in a dispensary environment and strong supervisory skills. This hands-on management role requires oversight of workflows, stock control, and ensuring safety in medication dispensing. Are you a pharmacy technician looking for a role where you can really shape how a dispensary runs?
We are looking for a dispensary manager to take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of our dispensary service across Debenham Group Practices three sites, for up to 37.5 hours per week.
You will be mainly based at Debenham, with regular working across Otley and Grundisburgh, and you will play a key role in making sure our dispensary service is safe, organised, and works well for both patients and staff.
This is a hands‑on management role where you will oversee how the dispensary operates across all three sites.
You'll manage the dispensary team, keep a close eye on workflows, stock, and standards, and make sure medicines are dispensed safely and accurately. You will also support wider pharmacy and prescribing activity by helping to resolve patient and prescription queries, working closely with GPs, pharmacists, and the practice team.
You'll take the lead on areas such as controlled drugs and DSQS, and act as the main point of contact for dispensary matters within the practice.
