About the role

Balfour Beatty is seeking a dedicated Digital Delivery Engineer for our exciting Net Zero Teesside Project. If you're passionate about delivering transformative projects with a commitment to safety and excellence, we want to hear from you! As part of the digital team, the digital delivery engineer will help support and facilitate the successful embedment of digital tools and processes across the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the wider Digital team to become a subject matter expert in digital tools and processes.
  • Develop strong relationships at the project level with stakeholders and users.
  • Develop a key understanding of digital transformation and delivery.
  • Support the effective mobilisation of our schemes ensuring our standard digital tools and processes are successfully embedded and crucially supported.
  • Help resolve issues and answer questions regarding digital tools.
  • Act as the key point of contact for projects for digital tools questions and queries.
  • Deliver project training sessions on digital systems for users.
  • Undertake configuration of devices to enable digital tools and processes to be followed.
Qualifications
Essential
  • Recognised construction industry experience.
  • Experience of using digital tools and processes.
  • Can lead the use of digital software applications and train others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to deliver in a collaborative manner.
  • Work under time pressure.
  • Proficiency in IT and digital tools.
  • Create effective relationships with the project team and supply chain partners.
  • Ability to multitask.
Preferred
  • Understanding of design, construction, asset‑management stages in the digital lifecycle.
