A Primary Care Network is seeking a Digital Coding Hub Team Manager to lead a dedicated team supporting GP practices. We are seeking a dynamic and motivatedTeam Manager to lead our Digital Clinical Hub at Southport and Formby Primary Care Network (PCN). This role is essential in supporting GP practices within our network by managing and processing clinical correspondence remotely.
Thesuccessful candidate will manage a team of four team leaders and their 10+ staff, with potential for further expansion. This team is responsible for the accurate coding of relevant information and the escalation of necessary documents for further management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement and innovation of our services.
Although advertised at full time, hours between 30-37.5 hours will be considered if the applicant was pursuing a part-time role.

The ideal candidate has experience of leadership and people management processes in primary care and is passionate about clinical coding. They are skilled in using EMIS Web and Microsoft Office, proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong organisational and communication abilities.
This person thrives both independently and as part of a team, handles pressure well, leads by example and is committed to continuous learning. They enjoy problem-solving, have a passion for high-quality patient care, and are eager to drive innovation.
This is an evolving role within the PCN, and additional responsibilities will be added over time as the service evolves.
The individual must also be willing to undertake the appropriate training as set out by the Personalised Care Institute as part of the national framework for Care Coordinators. The individual must be happy to work with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues. The individual must have experience of using clinical systems such as EMIS or be willing to undertake the necessary training, this is essential to the role.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
