A regional health board in the United Kingdom is seeking Band 5 Dietitians to join their motivated team at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. Successful candidates will provide dietetic interventions in hospital settings and assist in outpatient clinics. Responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload and working within multidisciplinary teams. Required qualifications include a BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics and registration with the Health Care Professions Council. The position offers a supportive environment and a full-time permanent contract.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Band 5 Dietitians to join our forward‑thinking, supportive and motivated team of dietitians working in acute and oncology settings. The post is based at Royal Glamorgan Hospital with in‑reach to Princess of Wales Hospital and/or Prince Charles Hospital as required.
The successful candidates will provide dietetic intervention to inpatients on a variety of hospital wards as well as weekly outpatient clinics and education sessions, and support nursing/medical teams. They will play a key role in student training and work closely with a Dietetic Support Worker.
Provide clinical responsibility for adult acute patients on enteral feeding and/or oral nutritional supplements, and outpatient work including general adult dietetic clinics or group education sessions.
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams (medical, nursing, therapy, catering staff and other agencies) both within the hospital and the community.
Exercise professional autonomy within policies of the British Dietetic Association, Health Care Professions Council, and the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Dietetic Department.
This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Level 3 (B2) speaking and listening skills are an advantage but not essential.
