Job summary

A leading tech consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract role based in Essex. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure hosted in AWS
• Oversee Kubernetes-based environments and deployments
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Support production releases and troubleshoot deployment issues
• Work collaboratively with development and testing teams to ensure stable and secure environments

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in DevOps engineering within large-scale environments (ideally enterprise or financial)
• Strong background in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Confident with Linux environments and scripting for automation
• Familiar with deployment and release management best practices
• A proactive self-starter with strong communication and task management skills
