Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support Brokers with daily activities.
  • Ensure trades are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Maintain strong relationships with global offices.
  • Liaise with middle and back office on trade issues.
  • Check bank credits for trades.
  • Update platforms with the latest data.
  • Produce date sheets for trades.
  • Liaise with clients to maintain strong relationships.
  • Comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Adhere to operational risk requirements.

Desk Assistant – London

Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. CFT is represented in over 30 countries, employing over 3,000 people.

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Desk Assistant to be based within the London office.

Brief responsibilities within the Desk Assistant position include:

  • Support Brokers with their daily activities
  • Ensure all trades are recorded and inputted accurately, in a timely fashion
  • Liaise and keep strong relationships with other global offices
  • Liaise with the middle and back office to follow up any issues regarding trades.
  • Check banks credit for trades.
  • Regularly update all platforms with the latest data.
  • Producing date sheets for the fixing and value dates of trades.
  • Liaising with clients to maintain strong relationships, including out of office hours engagements.
  • Ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies and external regulations that relate to you and your role.
  • Be aware of and compliant with operational risk requirements (e.g. behaviour, security policies & regulatory requirements)
  • Any other duties reasonably requested

Key skills and experience required in this role:
