Overview

Join our dynamic team at Strata Solicitors, as a Defence Claims Co-Ordinator. This is your chance to work alongside experienced professionals, develop your leadership skills, and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

You will be at the core of our defence team operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence. From overseeing processes and managing data to supporting Defence Claims Managers, your contributions will directly influence the success of our claims function.

How you\'ll make an impact
  • Collaborate closely with the Defence Management Team to deliver a premium client service.
  • Serve as a key liaison between claims handlers and management teams, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
  • Coordinate the efficiency of the claim\'s function by handling incoming and existing claim levels within the team.
  • Document procedures, maintain strong client relationships, and prepare for client service reviews.
  • Ensure high-quality data management and assist in preparing internal and client reports.
  • Produce claims statistics and reports as required to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Ensure the team achieves and maintains full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with authorising payments on claims and ensure adherence to agreed processes.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the team as required.
  • Support the Defence Claims Managers in overseeing service delivery, MI (Management Information), and data reporting.
About You
  • A Law degree or Insurance Qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Proven experience in motor claims handling within a legal, insurance, or claims management environment.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach with strong attention to detail
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and drive team performance
  • Calm and focused under pressure, with a track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
