This role focuses on developing high-quality, user-friendly dashboards and reports that bring clarity and insight to the business. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design impactful data stories, and support the adoption of self-serve analytics.

The Role:

You will partner with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders across the business to deliver actionable insights and enable colleagues to explore data in a self-serve manner. This is a hands-on role, requiring creativity, technical skills, and a strong eye for detail.

Our offices are in Trafford Park, Manchester and the role consists of hybrid working, where we ask for our team to be in the office for collaboration and team building 2 days per week. The rest of the week is up to you; deep focus at home, or more of the same!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports in QuickSight to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualisations.
  • Ensure dashboards follow best practices in UX, accessibility, and data storytelling.
  • Work closely with analytics engineering to align dashboards with curated datasets and standardised metrics.
  • Champion the adoption of self-serve reporting and empower colleagues to explore data independently.
  • Continuously review and improve reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
  • Support in embedding reporting standards and best practices across the business.
  • Apply automation and AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve delivery efficiency and the quality of analytical outputs.
  • Adhering to Company Policies and Procedures with respect to Security, Quality and Health & Safety.
About You:
  • Experience designing and building dashboards in a BI tool (QuickSight strongly preferred; Tableau, Power BI, or Looker also considered).
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and preparing data for reporting.
  • Strong understanding of data storytelling, visual best practices, and UX principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working with AWS data tools (Athena, S3) is desirable.
