Job summary

A leading insurance provider is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to ensure compliance with data regulations and support privacy across teams. You'll assess risks, provide guidance, and oversee processes to protect customer data. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of data privacy principles, experience with Data Privacy Impact Assessments, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This role offers a competitive salary of circa £40,000 and various benefits including a 10% bonus opportunity and a generous pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data privacy, governance, or risk management is essential.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to train and support colleagues on data privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the IWR business by assessing and managing data privacy risks.
  • Provide specialist guidance to UK teams and oversee compliance processes.
  • Support projects that drive growth while maintaining data governance.

Skills

Strong knowledge of data privacy principles and regulations (e.g., GDPR)
Experience completing or reviewing Data Privacy Impact Assessments
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and provide guidance
Familiarity with data subject rights processes
Excellent communication skills

Accredited CIPP qualification
