A leading home improvement retailer seeks a Data Manager to join their Finance team in Watford. The role involves ensuring data governance and supporting a variety of projects aimed at improving data accuracy and compliance. Candidates should have over 5 years of Business Intelligence experience, strong SQL and data analysis skills, and the ability to manage data integrity. This role ensures Wickes has a single ‘version of the truth’, enabling consistent reporting from the Data Lake through defining KPIs, owning master data and financial assurance.
We anticipate you’ll have 5+yrs BI / data experience and relevant professional or industry training including advanced SQL & Data Analysis. You’ll be an expert with BI Tools, and have strong documentation skills and the ability to translate IT into layman's terms. You’ll be a confident communicator capable of owning projects E2E with strong acumen for business analysis and user engagement. As well as this you’ll have:
