Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Data and/or IT trends and good practice.
  • Experience of delivering outputs in a ‘Product’ based environment using agile methods.
  • A solid understanding of data, data analytics and data tools.

Job Title: Data Insights Lead

Location: Frimley/Christchurch. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:
  • Ensure data is used ethically and appropriately, ensuring data is managed in compliance with legislative, security, export control and contractual requirements
  • Identify and promote where appropriate new tools and techniques for data analysis, data manipulation and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools) and develop business intelligence reports that can be reused
  • Lead teams summarising and presenting data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users
  • Design, develop and construct data products and services, and integrate them into systems and business processes
  • Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systems catalogue, monitor and identify data assets that are essential to the organisation’s operations or services
  • Explore and visualise data to find patterns and transform them into organisational insight and make recommendations to address complex problems and inform strategic and operational decision making
Your skills and experiences:
  • Experience of working in Data Analytics or an IT Function for a large complex organisation
  • Familiarity with Data and/or IT trends and good practice

The Data Insights team:

As a Data Insights Lead you will provide data leadership and subject matter expertise to set the data vision and strategy for Digital Intelligence (DI), whilst improving the data culture across DI and implementing innovative solutions. You will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of data analysts to deliver the data / business performance requirements for DI whilst supporting the teams development.
