Overview

We're partnering with a fast-growing IT Managed Services provider who is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience who is looking to develop their analytical skills and gain hands‑on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Azure data platforms.

You will help transform internal and customer data into clear insights that support business decisions. You'll work closely with both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring data is accurate, well‑organised, and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decision‑making
  • Assist in designing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Write and optimise SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needs
  • Support ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory
  • Help maintain data quality, governance, and performance in line with best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to turn business requirements into actionable insights andisations
Essential Skills & Experience
  • 1-2 years' experience in a data or analytics role
  • Strong SQL skills (experience with joins, CTEs, and query optimisation)
  • Experience with Power BI (creating dashboards, reports, and basic data modelling)
  • Familiarity with data pipelines/ETL processes (experience with Azure Data Factory is a plus)
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Interest in developing your skills in data warehousing and Azure-based platforms
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Experience in IT Managed Services or a technology‑driven environment
  • Exposure to Azure SQL, Synapse, or other cloud-based data platforms
  • Awareness of data governance or compliance frameworks
