Overview

Step into a vital role at East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) as a Cyber Security Specialist where your passion for IT and innovation will shape the future of cyber and information security. Staying hands-on, you’ll guide internal teams and collaborate with partners to build safer systems that meet future needs.

What you’ll do
  • Managing the design and implementation of technical security policies and structure.
  • Responsible for development of incident response processes and vulnerability assessments.
  • Optimising IT infrastructure and security architecture across the organisation.
What you must have
  • Strong skills in IT Infrastructure including networking, domain services, servers, virtualisation, and endpoint management.
  • Previous work in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Risk management experience including threat modelling and communicating scores to a range of colleagues.
