Overview

Customer Sales Representative role at Hiscox in Colchester, United Kingdom.

What you will be doing
  • Selling business insurance to SME customers, having great conversations to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our commercial product line, based on customers' needs.
  • Speaking to existing customers and resolving their queries via phone and email.
  • You will have individual targets, balanced between sales, quality and customer satisfaction while managing your time.
  • Become an expert in our technical products and our IT systems.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and huddles to discuss problem solving and review individual and team performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams across the contact centre to provide good outcomes for customers and Hiscox.
  • Initial training consists of 5 weeks to build knowledge of products and systems, followed by an Academy period of 4 weeks to further strengthen skills.
What we offer
  • Salary: £25,000 with potential for an annual performance bonus.
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Opportunity to work up to 2 days a week from home once fully trained and proficient.
