Job summary

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and committed person(s) to join our staff team at Cross Keys Learning in Womenswold who will support our SEN support students. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can relate to students who have struggled within a mainstream setting and need a more nurturing environment.

Applicants must be able to work collaboratively and have some prior experience of working with children or young adults. Experience of working with young people with SEN would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.

Key Purpose of the Job
  • Be part of the whole school team working to promote the best possible outcomes for our students in terms of their wellbeing, academic and personal development.
  • Support students with special educational needs in lessons with their academic development and learning behaviours.
  • Deliver interventions to students on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assist with the setting and reviewing of targets for student's based on their individual need.
  • Support teaching staff with lesson delivery and planning.
