What’s the role?

You will carry out risk assessments on new and existing customers, as well monitoring the evolution of our exposure. You will complete financial analysis demonstrating both insight and understanding of financial statements and relevant non‑financial information. You will also assist with credit control activities.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing corporate financial statements and other information to assess and recommend suitable credit limits.
  • Performing credit control activities in line with credit policy.
  • Portfolio oversight to ensure all customers continue to meet qualifying terms.
  • Identifying and monitoring watchlist exposures and agreeing strategies for management with Credit Risk Manager and CRO.
  • Provision of credit reporting to the Credit Risk Manager and CRO.
  • Supporting work to enhance and digitise the credit assessment and credit control processes.
  • Other general MI and admin tasks as requested from time to time by the CRO.
What else will help you to succeed in this role?
  • You have a degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • You are competent in MS packages, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and you feel comfortable in presenting credit proposals to senior internal stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable being responsible for your own work load while prioritising day to day tasks when needed.
