Creative Services Project Manager – Williams Lea
Salary: £48,400 per annum, plus company benefits
Location: London E14
Contract: Permanent, full time
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Mon‑Fri 7:30am‑3:30pm with a 30‑minute unpaid break
Work model: Hybrid; 3 days onsite
Role Overview
Williams Lea, a global provider of skilled, technology‑enabled business‑critical support services, seeks a Creative Services Project Manager to join our in‑house design team. The position involves managing diverse design projects, from event and campaign materials to engaging pitch presentations, for a major investment banking client.
Purpose of the Role
As the primary liaison between the client and our creative studio, you will ensure projects progress smoothly from brief to final delivery. You will support the Global Project Manager, ensuring seamless handovers across time zones and providing evening cover when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met
- Serve as the single point of contact for the client
- Support Team Lead in resourcing the appropriate designer for each project
- Participate in pitch work and present to clients
- Interact effectively and positively in a fast‑paced environment with all levels of staff, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
- Build and develop strong relationships with clients, managing their perceptions and expectations
- Accurately assess client requirements, identify issues, make decisions, and provide solutions, addressing conflicting client requirements when necessary
- Coordinate integrated presentation and design projects from brief through to execution
- Review incoming briefs to ensure clarity and completeness; develop detailed timelines and resource plans where required
- Manage the creative inbox, triaging requests, providing timely updates to stakeholders, and confidently managing expectations
- Collaborate with the Design Team Lead to guide stakeholders through production processes and ensure effective allocation of work
- Oversee quality control of deliverables, including proofreading and copy checks as necessary, organise regular team check‑ins to review work in progress, prioritise daily tasks, and identify any blockers or challenges
- Evaluate current workflows and proactively suggest improvements to increase efficiency and output quality
- Minimum of 1–5 years experience within investment banking, asset management, or a creative/production/integrated agency environment
- Demonstrable experience working with creative teams and managing internal processes across multiple concurrent projects
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with impeccable attention to detail
- Confident building and maintaining strong working relationships with cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders
- Proactive problem‑solver who remains calm under pressure, self‑motivated, and adapts easily in a fast‑paced, reactive environment
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint – reviewing and working with master templates, making layout adjustments, and ensuring presentation consistency
- Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills, with the ability to adjust plans as needed
>Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and experience managing print, digital, and video projects
