A leading transport and logistics provider is seeking a full-time Crane Engineer for their Coatbridge site. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing overhead RMG cranes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position requires a time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with experience in lifting equipment. As part of a 4 on 4 off rotation, the candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Training in crane engineering is desirable and a driving license is beneficial.

We are looking for a full time Crane Engineer, located at our Coatbridge site, Glasgow. The Crane Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing overhead RMG (Rail Mounted Gantry) cranes. The role involves ensuring all equipment complies with safety regulations and operating standards. The candidate will also need to perform diagnostics, manage heavy equipment, and carry out routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed service records and collaborating with other team members to address equipment issues.
The successful candidate would be working a 4 on 4 off rotation, rotating between dayshift and nightshift.
