A community-focused educational institution in West Bridgford is seeking a dedicated cover supervisor to ensure excellent learning experiences when regular teachers are absent. You will manage classroom behaviour and support students in their learning journey. The role offers fixed-term employment with 21.75 hours per week during term time only and a salary of £13,176 - £13,818 per annum. Applicants should be passionate about education and believe in every student's potential to excel.
As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring that students have a high-quality learning experience when their usual teacher is away from school.
You will manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task and facilitate the activities that have been designed by teaching staff to ensure that students complete the work in an effective learning environment.

This role offers you the chance to step in and lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, primarily for KS3 and KS4 students, with occasional work at KS5. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a broader contribution across the Academy.
This is a fixed term role starting from January 2026 until 31 August 2026, working for 21.75 hours per week, term time only.
