York High School is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join our existing Cover Team as soon as possible.
The central focus of the Cover Supervisor’s role is to take responsibility for the learning, behaviour and progress of classes during the absence of the designated teacher by delivering pre-prepared lessons. Working in a busy environment, you will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
This role would suit those considering a teaching career, but applications are welcome from any candidate who feels they can make a difference to the lives of young people.
