A leading educational institution located in the picturesque Cotswolds is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cover Manager, Calendar & HR Assistant. The role includes managing cover arrangements for classes, administering the school calendar, and supporting the HR department. Ideal candidates should be well-organized, proactive, and capable of multi-tasking. The school values continuous professional development and offers various health benefits. The starting date is February 2026 or by negotiation and the position is permanent with a term time contract.
Salary: Grade 8, point 18–23, £21,847–23,854 pro‑rata (£31,537–34,434 FTE)
Contract: Term time (38 weeks) plus 2 Inset days
Term: Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week

Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher
We have an exciting opportunity for a well‑organised, efficient and proactive individual to join our thriving school.
The successful applicant will manage the provision of appropriate cover arrangements for classes as a result of planned or unplanned absences, deploying internal staff and booking external staff as required.
You will be responsible for the line management of a team Cover Supervisors.
You will administer the Whole School Calendar, populating and maintaining it throughout the academic year, have an excellent eye for detail and strong organisational and administrative skills to support the HR Manager.
Previous experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The role would suit an enthusiastic individual who is able to multi‑task, willing to learn and develop, and who is flexible and adaptable in their approach.
