A local government council is seeking a full-time Countryside Ranger in East Kilbride. Ideal candidates will possess substantial knowledge of natural history and conservation, ideally with a degree or HND in an environmental subject. Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £32,337 - £33,231 annual salary
We are looking for a full time Countryside Ranger to join our Countryside and Greenspace team. You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of natural history and conservation and, ideally, you should be educated to degree or HND level in an environmental subject.
You should have at least one year's work or voluntary experience in conservation, education, community development, or health promotion.
If you are practical, organised, self‑motivated, and able to transmit your knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm to people of all ages and backgrounds then we can offer you a challenging and rewarding role, working with a committed and innovative team.
This post will be based at Calderglen Country Park, East Kilbride but will cover the whole of South Lanarkshire.
