The Role

This role offers the opportunity to provide dedicated costs support to a diverse client base, managing the full lifecycle of costs claims from preparation through to successful settlement. The successful candidate will take ownership of drafting and submitting claims for assessment, negotiating outcomes, and delivering expert guidance across a range of complex matters

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing Costs Budgets and Discussion Reports
  • Drafting Bills for assessment by the court
  • Preparing Costs Estimates and Schedules
  • Liaising and advising clients in regard to their cost claims.
  • Drafting Points of Dispute and Replies to Points of Dispute
  • Negotiating successful settlement of costs
  • Undertaking other duties reasonably required by directors or senior management
Requirements
  • 1 years’ plus experience in a legal costs role
  • Experience preparing schedules, budgets, and bills of costs
  • Experience drafting points of dispute and replies to points of dispute
