A local government organization is seeking a Corporate Trainee - Youth Work Assistant in Cardiff. This part-time role (18.5 hours/week) involves supporting the development of young people through direct engagement, data collection, and documentation tasks. Our Youth Service Team is looking to employ a Corporate Trainee – Assistant Youth Support Worker based at the North East team. The team delivers a range of provisions across the city for young people aged 11‑25, including youth centres, specialist provisions, targeted support, project work and street‑based youth work teams.
The North East locality team operates in Llanedeyrn, Pentwyn, Pontprennau and Llanishen and works with young people who live in those communities. We aim to provide creative and exciting activities that promote life skills and encourage participation and development.

This role will involve a mix of online and hybrid working, with the possibility of working fully from home. The post holder will be required to work unsociable hours, including evenings and some weekends.
