# Cook### Job Introduction#### **Cook – Phillips 66 Humber Refinery, Eastfield Road, South Killingholme, DN40 3DW**At **Sodexo**, we’re proud to partner with **Phillips 66 Humber Refinery** to deliver exceptional food service. If you’re passionate about high-quality catering and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love you to join our team.* £14.23 per hour* 12–18 hours per week* Shifts: (Shifts are: 1st week 12 hrs & 2nd week 18 hrs) 1st week Wed & Thurs & 2nd week Wed - Friday.* Free staff car parking on site---### Key Responsibilities* Prepare 400–600 meals daily to a high standard and on schedule* Ensure all food is produced in line with HACCP and Sodexo guidelines, with accurate record keeping* Provide efficient and friendly service to customers during meal times* Maintain kitchen and service areas to the highest hygiene standards, completing all required documentation* Support the Chef Manager with buffets, functions, stock control and ordering* Assist with food preparation in the Grab & Go unit and Walmer House as required* Report incidents or customer feedback promptly, ensuring documentation is completed* Contribute to the training and development of junior catering team members* Play a key role in the smooth running of the catering operation---### About You* Proven experience in a high-volume catering environment* Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills* Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure* Passionate about food and customer service* Supervising Food Safely Level 3 qualification (essential)* IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification (desirable)* Previous Lead Chef, Sous Chef or production kitchen experience* Knowledge of contract catering and staff training desirable* Professional appearance with a strong focus on hygiene---### What We OfferWorking with Sodexo is more than a job—it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
