A leading firm in legal services is seeking a self-motivated Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive in Manchester. The role involves assisting with shared ownership transactions and managing a caseload of sensitive cases. Ideal candidates will have over 2 years of post-qualification experience in residential property, particularly in affordable housing products. This position offers a hybrid work model and requires excellent client communication skills.

THE DIVISION
The Housing division is thriving and carries out real estate transactions such as major development work, plot sales, right to buy, stair casing and shared ownership. It also has a very successful housing management department supporting housing associations with landlord/tenant matters.
We are seeking a self‑motivated and committed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join our Asset Management team in our Manchester office. We require someone ideally with experience in property transactions including shared ownership staircasing, resales, lease extensions, Right to Buy/Acquire and ad‑hoc property matters. It is anticipated that in order to have the relevant skills and experience required for this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years post‑qualification experience, preferably within a leading housing or real‑estate practice.
The main duties will be to:
The successful candidate is likely to be in a similar role within a residential conveyancing, development, plot sales or generalist housing profession in either a legal or professional services environment (minimum of two years relevant experience preferred) and will ideally be able to demonstrate:
