We are actively seeking a Health & Safety professional to join the Facilities Management Department.

Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

Working closely with the Contractor Compliance & CDM Manager to ensure that all Facilities Project work and Contractor Controls are delivered safely, with best practice in a fast-moving environment. The role engages with the Facilities Team and supports across works across the wider business, building relationships with contractors.

• Carry out focused Health & Safety inspections and ensure actions are closed out
• Collate information and create reports on findings
• Problem solve and develop workable solutions
• Strong communicator who can influence others
• Provide guidance to ensure the business remains compliant in its activities
• Carry out investigations, create reporting and perform statistical analysis
• Promote best practice across all FM works/projects
• Plan diary to engage across MBDA UK sites regularly
• Proactively manage own workload

What we're looking for from you:

• Minimum NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate
• Experience in construction environments
• Knowledge of auditing processes
• Desirable: Diploma (Level 6) preferred
• Desirable: CSCS Card
• Desirable: auditing qualification (ISO 45001/14001)
