Overview

Recruitment Advisor at TLT LLP | Contract & Temporary Resourcing. We are looking to speak to Contract Conveyancing Paralegals to join our team in Bristol. You will join the Lender Sales team and handle your own caseload of conveyancing files.

This opportunity is paid on a day rate via an umbrella company. Office attendance is required for our Bristol offices.

Your Role

As a Conveyancer your day-to-day remit includes:

  • Be responsible for own caseload of conveyancing files, end to end from file opening to completion, referring all legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure telephone calls are dealt with professionally; take full notes and refer complex matters to the Team Manager.
  • Regularly update clients and asset managers on case progress.
  • Support client visits with the management team and contribute to meetings and training.
  • Problem solve with case facts and discuss actions with senior team members as needed.
  • Keep up to date with changes in regulations, policies and conveyancing procedures; share updates with colleagues in the sales teams where appropriate.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Previous conveyancing experience is essential.
  • Experience with title checking for freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties.
  • Experience drafting and providing detailed advice and proposed solutions to clients.
  • Empathetic with clients and a good telephone manner with clear diction.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Proactive with strong attention to detail.
