Content Creator

Hybrid | UK (Liverpool/Leeds) | Full-time

At Velstar, we build world-class eCommerce experiences for ambitious brands and we want our own brand presence to match. We’re looking for a Content Creator to help bring our work, people and ideas to life across video, social and written content.

This is a hands-on role for a creative storyteller who loves making content that gets noticed. If you’re someone who lives on TikTok, Reels and Shorts, enjoys writing, and wants to create content for a market-leading Shopify agency, this could be a great fit.

The role

As a Content Creator, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Velstar shows up online. You’ll create multi-format content that builds brand authority, showcases our expertise, and captures the energy of a fast-growing digital agency.

From filming short-form video to writing thought leadership and covering industry events, you’ll help ensure our content feels relevant, credible and engaging.

What you’ll be doing

• Scripting, filming and editing short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts and agency showcases)

• Writing blogs, case studies and long-form content that highlights our impact for D2C and B2B brands

• Managing and growing our social channels, engaging with our community and maintaining a consistent brand voice

• Capturing content at industry events and agency moments throughout the year

• Collaborating with the marketing team to plan and execute content ideas

• Helping shape the tools and tech stack used for content creation

What we’re looking for

You’re creative, proactive and comfortable turning ideas into polished content. You enjoy storytelling, experimenting with formats, and keeping up with what performs on social.

You’ll likely have:

• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video filming and editing skills

• Strong writing ability and confidence simplifying complex topics

• A good understanding of social platforms and content trends

• A collaborative mindset and positive, can-do attitude

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment

• Comfort in front of the camera as well as behind it

A degree in Video, Marketing or a related field is a plus, but we value your portfolio and practical skills first.
