Job summary

A regional healthcare provider is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work across HMP Guys Marsh and HMP Erlestoke. The position offers a salary ranging from £109,725 to £145,478 pa on a part-time permanent basis.

Qualifications

• GMC registered with relevant experience in psychiatry.
• Ability to secure inclusion in the specialist register.
• Experience in a prison or secure hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership to mental health in-reach teams.
• Assess and manage chronic psychotic illnesses and mood disorders.
• Support trauma-informed care and collaborate with psychology teams.
• Coordinate with external services for care plans and transfers.
• Participate in clinical governance and audits.
