A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a Consultant in Older Peoples Services at Colchester Hospital. The role includes inpatient care, developing a frailty service, and teaching junior staff. The position offers a £12,000 welcome bonus, relocation costs, and opportunities for personal development. Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Older Peoples Services at Colchester Hospital and Clacton Hospital. The appointee will join 4 other consultants in elderly medicine who provide a comprehensive service for residents of Northeast Essex as part of ESNEFT.
It is expected that the new appointee will participate in the development of the Frailty service for elderly patients in Northeast Essex. Other subspecialty interests are also welcome. The key elements of the role include inpatient care, frailty work, on‑call acute care as well as teaching and training junior medical staff.
