A leading healthcare provider in London seeks a full-time Consultant Histopathologist to join their Cellular Pathology department, focusing on Skin and Head and Neck Pathology. Candidates must have a medical degree and GMC registration, along with experience in histopathology. This permanent role offers a salary between £109,725 and £145,478 per annum, plus additional benefits including a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development.
Applications are invited for a full-time substantive Consultant Histopathologist to join our Cellular Pathology department. This is a replacement post with equal components of Skin and Head and Neck Pathology. The post holder will be based at St. George’s Hospital.
The appointee, together with Consultant colleagues in the department, will be responsible for the provision of Skin and Head and Neck pathology reporting.
The successful candidate will work with colleagues and local managers to run the service efficiently, contribute to governance, audit and maintain CME/CPD, and support trust professional development. The appointee will ensure compliance with Trust policies, standing orders and financial instructions.
The consultant will oversee care of specimen from patients in their charge and manage the clinical department’s functioning, including administrative duties.
