A local care provider in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a Team Manager to lead a regional team in support of individuals overcoming employment barriers. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, a target-driven mindset, and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities include motivating the team, ensuring high-quality support, and facilitating job placements. This role offers competitive salary and various benefits, including comprehensive training, annual leave, and healthcare support.
Salary: £38,000-£43,000 based on qualifications and experience
Location: Essex, Southend and Thurrock
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/07/2027
ECL is working on behalf of Essex County Council to deliver the government funded Supported Employment programme ‘Connect to Work’ as part of the ‘Get Britain Working’ initiative.
The Connect to Work Team Manager will lead a regional team across Essex, Southend and Thurrock, supporting individuals with barriers to employment in finding and sustaining work. You will empower and motivate your team to exceed our contractual targets for individuals entering and remaining in employment, whilst delivering consistent and high-quality end-to-end employment support following the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF).
Playing a key role in developing exciting opportunities and pathways for the individuals we support, you will ensure all employment outcomes are person‑centred and that individuals are matched based on skills and experience.
