Join our family of Heartists at the Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery, the first 5★ hotel in Liverpool. What you’ll be doing

As Concierge at the Municipal Hotel & Spa, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests. This highly visible role requires a personable, professional and welcoming individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. You will embody the warmth and charm of our 5‑star hotel, ensuring every guest feels valued from arrival to departure. The hotel operates 7 days a week, with shift times varying from early morning to evenings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure with a genuine smile and personalised service.
  • Assist with opening doors, calling taxis, providing directions, and escorting guests as required.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance with luggage, valet or general enquiries.
  • Maintain a strong presence at the hotel entrance, offering a professional and approachable demeanour at all times.
  • Liaise closely with Concierge, Reception and Guest Relations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide accurate local knowledge about Liverpool’s attractions, restaurants, events and transport.
  • Have excellent city contacts to fulfil guest requests.
  • Ensure the entrance area is clean, safe and presentable at all times.
  • Handle any guest concerns or queries discreetly and professionally, escalating where necessary.
  • Uphold the hotel’s grooming and uniform standards to reflect a 5‑star appearance.
  • Excelling as a communicator with excellent self‑awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Show a motivational and upbeat team spirit, exuding “Hospitality”.
  • Be able to absorb historical detail of our building and provide heritage tours and speeches to guests and visitors.
  • Ensure security awareness, monitoring the front area for any suspicious behaviour or safety concerns.
