Job description

We are interested in welcoming new staff into our busy and dynamic mental health team. We work across Bradford in four local teams ensuring staff offers positive mental health recovery support and housing-related support in a personalised way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit service users in their own homes or other settings to provide practical support to enable independent living whilst offering emotional support as per individual support plans.
  • Assist service users with day‑to‑day tasks such as completing housing benefit forms, visiting supermarkets, setting up bank accounts, paying utility bills, etc.
  • Build trusting therapeutic relationships with service users and maintain accurate records of interactions.
  • Work flexibly across shifts and locations, supporting a diverse range of needs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive, proactive, responsible attitude.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working in the care and support sector preferred.
  • Driver’s licence and ability to travel to various sites (beneficial).
  • Experience with mental health, housing, or autism services will be an advantage.
