Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in your community? The Hertfordshire Community Supermarket, delivered by Community Help Hertfordshire, is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team! We need enthusiastic individuals to assist with various tasks during 4-hour shifts, either in the morning or the afternoon.

Practical Considerations

Whether you can spare a few hours in the morning or the afternoon, your contribution will make a significant difference. All out-of-pocket expenses, including travel, will be reimbursed. We can also assist volunteers who do not drive.

Full Description

What You'll Do:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, including vulnerable individuals, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Stock Management: Help with stocking and organising products on shelves.
• Community Outreach: Engage with the community, spreading awareness and collecting feedback.
• Checkout Assistance: Assist with checkout and transactions.
• Setup and Pack Down: Support in setting up and packing away stock.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene standards for a safe environment.

We are seeking volunteers from Hertsmere, Stevenage, North Herts, Dacorum, East Herts, Broxbourne, Welwyn Hatfield, St Albans, Watford, and Three Rivers. Join us to support those in need and strengthen our community. We look forward to welcoming you!
