Calling Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioners! Do you have a passion for working with older adults?
If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Based at Cromwell House, Winchester, the Older Adults CMHT offers assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and support for people with a deterioration in cognition and/or dementia and over 65's who present with functional mental health illnesses. We work closely with carers and other services, such as Adult Health and Social Care and with the voluntary sector.

The CMHT is a lively, dynamic, and supportive multi-disciplinary team which provides care coordination and recovery focused care for individuals with complex and challenging mental health needs.

You will need excellent assessment and communication skills. In addition, you will carry a caseload and participate in the team's duty system. As a senior clinician, you will need to work alongside other agencies to promote holistic recovery focused care as well as producing reports, supervising staff and running clinics as necessary.

The successful candidate will have sound clinical skills, be able to coordinate complex care, have good administration and IT skills, as well as good report writing, organisational skills and working knowledge of CPA processes and safeguarding.

Applicants must have a driving licence suitable for use in the United Kingdom and access to a vehicle for work purposes. Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00.
