Overview

Join to apply for the Commercial Manager role at FCC Environment.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the commercial operations of the quarrying business
• Manage, develop, and motivate a sales office team
• Oversee accurate and efficient order processing from enquiry to invoicing
• Develop and grow new and existing business opportunities
• Maintain key accounts and customer relationships
• Deliver pricing strategies and manage quotations and tenders
• Monitor performance of haulage contractors and ensure delivery efficiency
• Work closely with site and transport staff to match production with demand
• Ensure all commercial activity aligns with company objectives and budget
• Monitor and report on KPIs, and contribute to strategic planning

What we are looking for

• Proven sales and managerial experience within Quarrying or Recycling
• Strong knowledge of aggregates, recycled products, and civil engineering specifications
• Experience in inert waste acceptance and recycling operations
• Confident in IT systems – Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage change, and build high-performing teams, and drive commercial success
• Previous experience influencing internal and external stakeholders at senior level
• Strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement
