Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator, specifically with strong CNC turning experience, to join the team at Unistrut.

Key Requirements

• Experience working with Mazak and Citizen Miyano CNC machines
• Strong background in CNC turning
• Experience with milling machines is desirable but not essential
• Solid understanding of Fanuc and Siemens programming
• Proven CNC setting and operating experience

What you’ll do

• Set and operate CNC lathes and ancillary equipment
• Set up, program, and operate twin-spindle, multi-axis CNC turning centres
• Produce parts to specification and output targets
• Ensure machines run to plan and production schedules are met
• Optimise cycle times and improve production processes
• Own the quality of parts produced
• Maintain production and quality documentation
• Uphold 5S workplace standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Carry out other tasks as required

Hours of Work

39 hours per week on a 2-week rotating shift pattern (subject to change):

Week 1

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm

Week 2

• Monday–Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Friday: 1:00pm – 8:00pm

Pay

• £16.40 per hour
• 22% shift allowance (earlies)
• 25% shift allowance (lates)
