Job description

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 13:45 - 23:45 (4-day week)
• Salary guide: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new opportunity with a forward-thinking precision engineering company? We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team on the late shift at their Braintree facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (primarily Haas and Mazak) to produce high-precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC milling, with the ability to set and operate machines independently.
• Proficiency with Haas and Mazak CNC controls.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
