Note: 1 position for Halewood and 1 for Castle Bromwich, UK.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with strong expertise in stamping processes and Body-in-White (BIW) components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CMM scanning, probing, and programming, along with advanced knowledge of GD&T and quality confirmation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute CMM programs for new product development and launch programs.
  • Perform CMM scanning and probing for dimensional validation.
  • Ensure quality compliance for stamping processes, including IPV and final quality confirmation.
  • Conduct CMM data analysis and perform root cause analysis for deviations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
  • Support supplier buyoff activities and manage project timelines.
  • Validate gap and flush measurements for sheet metal assemblies.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CMM scanning and probing.
  • Expertise in Polyworks software for CMM operations.
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge, specialized in stamping and BIW.
  • Strong understanding of stamping processes and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of supplier buyoff and project management practices.
  • Ability to analyse CMM data and resolve dimensional issues effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive or BIW manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
