Clinics Area Lead - Yorkshire, Physiotherapy Yorkshire Pure Unity Health. Lead with purpose. Grow with Pure. We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our Regional Team as Clinics Area Lead for Yorkshire. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving clinical excellence, mentoring emerging leaders, and shaping the future of MSK care across the region.

Location & Contract
Location: Yorkshire Region (covering Broomhall, Hoyland and Parkgate for clinic coverage; will cover Leeds, Wakefield, Hull and North Nottingham for managerial tasks and team leader support/meetings). A valid full UK driving licence is essential. Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: £41,000–£45,000 (depending on experience).

Purpose of the Role

As Clinics Area Lead, you’ll ensure the efficient and effective delivery of clinical services across Yorkshire. You’ll champion best practice, support complex case management, and foster a culture of quality, development, and innovation aligned with Pure’s values.

Your Role in Our Team

Reporting to the Head of Clinics and working closely with the Regional Lead, you’ll line manage a team of Clinics Team Leads. You’ll guide their leadership and clinical development, empower them to grow their teams, and act as a role model for excellence in MSK physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence & Quality

  • Act as the clinical expert across your region
  • Oversee clinic diary management and optimise utilisation
  • Monitor clinical KPIs and implement improvement strategies
  • Support operational leads in embedding excellence in service delivery

Team Development & Performance

  • Lead and coach Clinics Team Leads to deliver high standards of care
  • Build performance plans and mentor leadership growth
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Address clinical performance issues and support complaint resolution

Governance & Compliance

  • Collaborate with Quality & Governance teams on audits and standards
  • Ensure adherence to HCPC/CSP guidelines and Pure policies
  • Promote mandatory training and learning via Thrive
  • Manage clinical complaints professionally and constructively

Leadership & Culture

  • Champion Pure’s values and sustainability initiatives
  • Create an inclusive, safe, and high-performing team environment

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • HCPC Registration
  • BSc Physiotherapy
  • Minimum 4 years MSK experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong IT skills and understanding of clinical governance

Desirable

  • Level 7 leadership qualification or Clinical Master’s degree
  • Experience in private physiotherapy clinics
  • Project management or strategy implementation experience
